Shull Investigations was founded in January 1998 by Daniel C. Shull a retired Deputy Chief of Police with the Colorado Springs Police Department. Shull, a 28 year veteran is one of the highest decorated officers of the Department. In 1981 he was awarded the Medal of Honor regarding a hostage rescue of a 4 month old baby girl from her armed kidnapper. Dan worked in many assignments as a police officer and brings that experience to the private legal investigation arena.

Patrol, narcotics, crimes against persons (including homicide, 1^st and 2^nd degree assault, kidnapping, menacing, sexual assault, suicide), hostage negotiator, Incident Commander for the 1992 President George W. Bush Sr. visit and many others to numerous to mention here. He worked his way up the chain of command from patrolman to Deputy Chief as the second in command of the Police Department.

Dan is joined by his brother Tim J. Shull a retired Bureau Chief with the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office in El Paso County, Colorado. Tim had served 24 years with the Department in numerous assignments, including patrol, investigations (including homicide, suicide, assault, kidnapping and sexual assault), fugitive apprehension and jail operations. In 1992 Dan & Tim served on the Protection Detail for Former President George W. Bush Sr. and his visit to Colorado Springs. Combined the brothers offer 52 years of experience in the criminal justice field. When asked what his services provided, Dan expressed it with his motto as written below.
